Pre-Book, Pre-Book, Pre-Book

While you likely booked all your flights, including internal ones, you should also pre-book everything else you can. When traveling with kids, booking a hotel room along the way isn't recommended. When you arrive, you want to go straight to your lodging, drop off your bags, and give everyone some time to rest, especially after a long trip. If you still want flexibility, at least book the first few nights in advance.
Pre-booking everything else, such as events, shows, park tickets, museums, public transportation, tours, and even a restaurant table, saves time and usually costs less than booking on-site. This approach reduces stress and allows you to enjoy your trip more.
