Adjust To Your Destination Time Zone

Adjust To Your Destination Time Zone
Categories: Traveling | Flight

One of the best ways to minimize jet lag and adjust quickly to a new time zone is to start adapting before you even leave. A few days before your trip, gradually shift your sleeping and eating schedules to match those of your destination.

If you’re traveling to a destination with a different time zone than yours, use the flight to adjust.

I mean that if you land in the early morning, try to sleep on the flight for a few hours. If you arrive at night time, try not to sleep on the flight, so you’ll be tired and ready to sleep when you come to the hotel.

If you use a smartwatch or smartphone, it will probably adjust automatically or display 2 time zones when you lend and connect to a local carrier.

Once you arrive, spend time outdoors to help your body sync with the local time through natural light exposure.
