Cycle Through the Dunes from The Hague

Categories: Transportation | Traveling
While reaching the museum via public transit involves taking a bus from The Hague Central Station followed by a 15-minute walk along an estate lane, renting an OV-fiets or city bike is by far the most enjoyable way to arrive. The cycling route from central The Hague takes roughly 30 minutes and leads you through lush beech forests, historic country estates, and the undulating Wassenaar dune landscape.
Secure bike racks are located directly near the entrance pavilion. Planning your trip on two wheels also gives you the flexibility to continue cycling directly to the nearby Scheveningen or Wassenaarse Slag beaches after your museum visit.
