Explore Early along the Lauterbrunnen Valley Trail

To appreciate Staubbach Falls without large tour groups blocking your view, plan to walk the valley floor early in the morning before 8:30 AM. The flat, paved Lauterbrunnen Valley Trail runs directly past the base of the waterfall and continues south toward Stechelberg.

Starting early allows you to photograph the grand scale of the waterfall in relative peace while listening to echoing cowbells across the meadows. If arriving by train from Interlaken, take the first morning service to beat the peak crowds that typically flood the main street around mid-morning.
