During a typical opera or ballet performance in the Historic Building, the 20 to 30-minute intermission causes massive queues at the foyer bars. To bypass the rush, head immediately to any bar counter upon entering the theater before the performance starts and pre-order and pay for your interval drinks and canapés (chlebíčky). Your order will be set out with your name on a designated cocktail table the moment the intermission bell chimes.

Enjoying your glass of Bohemia Sekt quickly gives you precious time to step out onto the Triga terrace loggia overlooking the Vltava river and Prague Castle. This vantage point offers one of the most stunning, crowd-free nighttime panoramas in Central Europe, featuring monumental bronze sculptures of winged horses and victory chariots up close.
