The museum grounds cover roughly 44 hectares (over 100 acres), making it easy to tire yourself out if you try to cover every corner on foot. Take advantage of the historic electric tramway that circles the entire perimeter of the park. The ride is fully included with your admission ticket, allowing you to hop on and off at various heritage stops throughout the day.

These operational trams—dating from the early to mid-20th century—are genuine pieces of Dutch transit history rescued from cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Arnhem.
