You do not need to pay full box office prices or wait in lengthy mid-day lines at the TKTS booth to experience world-class Broadway productions. Most active Broadway shows offer digital lotteries and rush tickets that grant access to prime seats for $30 to $50.

Digital lotteries typically open the day before the performance through platforms like Lucky Seat, Broadway Direct, or Telecharge. Entering is free, and winners are given a 60-minute window to purchase up to two heavily discounted tickets.

For shows without online lotteries, consider in-person general rush. Arrive at the theater box office right when it opens (typically 10:00 AM Monday through Saturday and 12:00 PM on Sunday) to request same-day rush tickets, which are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
