Unlock the Cabinet of Graphic Arts

One of the most unique interactive features of the LAAC – Modern Art Museum is its hands-on Cabinet des Arts Graphiques. Rather than keeping all works locked behind glass, the museum provides special public storage drawers containing over 3,000 prints, drawings, and graphic works from the 1950s through the 1980s.

Don't hesitate to pull out the wooden drawers and curate your own viewing experience. You will find remarkable works from the CoBrA movement, Pop Art, and narrative figuration. Ask the museum staff for guidance if you are looking for specific artists or historical periods.
