Carry Small Koruna Banknotes for Small Growers

Close-up of a customer paying with Czech currency at an outdoor market stall.
Categories: Preparation | Dining

While prepared-food stands and larger coffee trucks frequently accept contactless card payments, smaller independent farmers selling fresh herbs, wild mushrooms, and seasonal berries often remain cash only.

Bring Czech Koruna (CZK) in 100 and 200 CZK banknotes along with 20 and 50 CZK coins. Vendors appreciate exact change, and large 1,000 or 2,000 CZK notes can quickly deplete a small stall's cash float early in the morning.
