Catch the Hourly Musical Tour

A beautifully restored, large historic Dutch street organ inside a church-turned-museum.
Categories: Preparation | General

To truly experience Museum Speelklok, you must hear the instruments play. Because these delicate, centuries-old self-playing musical instruments, music boxes, and massive street organs are highly sensitive, they are kept locked and silent for general viewing. The only way to hear them perform is by joining the free Muzikale Rondleiding (Musical Tour).

These tours run every hour on the hour and are included in your ticket price. The passionate guides speak both Dutch and English, bringing the history of these mechanical marvels to life. You will get to hear everything from tiny, intricate musical snuffboxes to thunderous dance organs that fill the entire church hall with sound.
