Parks Canada Discovery Pass

If you plan to visit more than two or three national parks—such as Banff, Jasper, Yoho, or Cape Breton Highlands—buying a Parks Canada Discovery Pass is significantly cheaper than paying daily entrance fees. The pass covers full admission to over 80 national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas for up to a year.

Passes can be purchased online in advance or directly at park entrance gates and visitor centers. Remember to hang the physical pass on your vehicle's rear-view mirror to avoid parking tickets inside protected zones.
