Jewish Quarter (Josefov)

However, it's important to remember that it has also seen more than its fair share of hard times and tragic events. These days, it's a popular destination for tourists because it features many important Prague sights and attractions. In the past, the quarter was the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe. Today, all of the different historical monuments in the quarter, except the Old-New Synagogue, form the Jewish Museum in Prague. During your tour in Dusni Street, you'll also find a statue of the celebrated Bohemian Jewish novelist Franz Kafka, who was born here.

Josefov is one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters in Europe, offering a deep dive into Jewish history and culture.
